Review: Intended for Bristol

Intended for Bristol Intended for Bristol by L.P. Dover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a copy from NetGalley in return for an honest review. Even though this book is listed as #8 in the Second Chances series, you can read them individually. I wouldn’t, but that’s because everything L.P. Dover writes is amazing. I haven’t come across a bad or heaven forbid a boring book yet. Besides, even though they are standalone’s the characters mingle throughout them.
Jaxson Reed is the Carolina Cougar’s kicker with a bad reputation. He has worked hard on getting back in good graces with the team, but it’s been a long, hard road. Now, a new quarterback is coming in and there’s a lot of bad blood between them. Jaxson decides to get some payback by going after the quarterback’s sister Bristol. Using dirty tactics, he hires her to redo his house and does everything in his power to get her to fall for him. The only problem, he falls as well.
Ms. Dover has a way with words. She uses them to transport you into the story. No matter if you are in the Land of the Fae, a casino in Vegas, or in the Cougar’s locker room, you feel that you are right there in the story, seeing it all happen right in front of you. I can’t wait to read more of her works. She is definitely one of the best out there right now.
