This was a little confusing at first considering I had read the first book. Then in this book you go back six years in the past. But it was great to see how they got to where they are. The story of Cal and Emily is a heartbreaking one and very emotional at times. To see all the hell they go through to be with one another. Just goes to show that a Happily ever after doesn't come without costs. This book does end in a cliffhanger can't wait until the next one.
