“Good morning,” Sylvia said as she set the tray of breakfast on the dresser.
Slade, who was sprawled on the bed, his fine, muscular body only partially covered by the sheet, opened his eyes.
“Good morning,” he said in a husky voice. “What's this?”
“I made you breakfast.”
He pushed himself to a sitting position, his gaze locked on her naked body as he straightened the bedding around him, covering his sexy six-pack abs. She tucked a second pillow behind his back and set the tray on his lap.
He grinned. “I've heard of service with a smile, but this takes it to a whole new level.”
She laughed, loving the twinkle in his eyes.
He tore his gaze from her naked breasts and glanced down at the tray.
“Looks good. But I'm the host. I should be feeding you.”
“No, I wanted to do this. I really want to thank you for letting me stay here.”
His gaze turned to hers. “I'm glad you're here. I want you to stay as long as you like.” His eyes grew serious. “Even if that's forever.”
His intense stare sent need thrumming through her. It would be wonderful to stay here with him. To be in his arms every night.
He turned back to his tray of food and tasted one of the home-made biscuits she'd made.
“Mmm, that's good.”
She settled on the bed beside him and curled her legs to the side as she watched him, enthralled by the look of delight on his face.
“Aren't you going to eat?” he asked.
“I will. Right now, I just want to watch you.”
He took a sip of his coffee. “Well, with you sitting there naked, I'm going to be watching you. And as soon as I finish this meal, I'll be doing something about it.”
Excitement quivered through her. As soon as he finished and leaned back against the pillows with a sigh, she stood up and took the tray from his lap, then set it on the dresser. His eyes glowed as she walked toward him, the heat of his gaze on her body sending electricity shimmering through her.
She knelt on the floor beside the bed and lowered her gaze.
“What may I do to please you, Sir?”
So why do I like writing erotic romance? I like being able to push beyond traditional boundaries. I like dealing with a female character who is growing and evolving - questioning her sexual boundaries and pushing past them. My stories usually include menage a trois. It is great fun to write a heroine choosing between two equally appealing heroes... or more.
These aren't women who just jump into bed with anyone. They find themselves in an unusual situation - something exciting and erotic - but a situation where they have to push themselves beyond their comfort level. As a result, they grow as a person. So often fear holds us back - of what others will think of us, of what we will think about ourselves - and we don't follow our hearts. These women push past that fear.
